Daily and Cumulative Mortality Returns for the Soho neighborhood of London (26 Jul to 7 Sep 1854)

• With this tool, you may create data plots based on the original data Dr. John Snow used to define the origins of the Cholera outbreak in 1854.
• Use the tabs at the top right of the visualization window to choose one of three types of plotting options (scatter, histogram, line).
• Tabs on the x-axis and y-axis will allow you to choose different types of data. ** It may be most useful to set Time on the x-axis. **
• Use the play button and/or slider at the bottom of the window to progress through the daily data and track the outbreak on a specific street.
• You may choose to highlight certain locations by checking the box next to individual street names.
• You may also visualize daily data by adjusting the slider bar at bottom to different dates.
• If necessary, you may change the plot axes from linear (Lin) to logarithmic (Log) scale.

• NOTE: Due to the features of this interactive Motion Chart, some graphical representations may be confusing and/or less meaningful than others. Choose your axes and plotting format wisely.
• Also, it may be helful to use the Wrench icon at the bottom right of the window to adjust the opacity of non-selected streets.
