Text Box: Civic Engagement has helped me realize that as technology advances the need for assistance gets over looked as a younger generation. The value that I learned here in civic engagement is that sharing very important knowledge to the people that need it most can be very fulfilling. Being a younger generation we over look the fact that the older community has no idea what to do with the new piece of technology, which makes life even harder for them. As a University it is a great thing that we are giving back to our community with a polite manner and a judgment free zone so that the elderly do not have to feel like they are not welcomed.
