About TLU

My major is psychology and as of now do not have a minor, although I am considering a minor in sociology. With a major in psychology, I hope to gain insight into how our human minds function as well as learn what makes our minds dysfunctional. As I have gone through my psychology classes I have begun to understand how subtly psychological principals influence us, and how much a psychological disorder can change an individual. With my education I hope to either enter the mental health field or the criminal justice field.

Pursing an education here at TLU costs a pretty penny but it is indeed a great place of learning. The small class size ensure that as a student if you want that individual attention from a professor, you can easily get it. The professors show passion for the subjects they teach, and that more than anything engages me in a course. I enjoy the small campus because it does not take an eternity to go from class to class across campus. I do wish there were more professors to teach courses throughout the semesters, as it proves difficult at times to pick all the classes you want when so many are at the same time on the same days. Some of the summer-only classes would be amazing to have throughout the regular semesters as well.

I do not participate in many extracurricular activities, I just play ping pong and badminton when I have time and work my work-study job.
