About Julia

Julia was born and raised in Puyallup Washington, she has enjoyed cooking ever since her parents would allow her to use the stove. Through High School she participated in Culinary Class, in which she learned valuable skills in the cooking industry. She later went on to win 4th place in the state culinary competition, where she received rave reviews of her entrée,  sesame incrusted halibut with homemade squid ink pasta, over a bed of baby Bok Choy and homemade Curry sauce, topped with a mango salsa. Chefs from around the Seattle area were impressed with her dish, saying “this is most certainly restaurant quality”. From that point on Julia was inspired to become a chef and own a restaurant. After college she opened the first European Cuisine restaurant in her home town of Puyallup...Julia’s Café! We invite you to come experience the wonders of food, and take a journey with your palette at this fine eating establishment.
