The Short Story

My story started many years ago in Windsor, Ontario, Canada where I was born.  I grew up in Chatham, Ontario and graduated from Tecumseh Secondary School.  After obtaining my degrees, I went on to do a year of post-doctoral work at York University working on the kinetic modelling of diesel fuel combustion in the Department of Chemistry with Prof. H.O. Pritchard.  After a year, I received a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Fellowship to work at the Defence Research Establishment Atlantic branch of the Department of National Defence on the modelling of polymers.  During this time I was a sessional lecturer at St. Mary's University. I taught at The University of Texas at Borwnsville for 10 years before moving to TLU in Fall 2008.
