Civil Engagement and the Digital Divide: Values, Strengths, and Needs of the Community Member.

Seguin is a very diverse and exceptional community. Its reputation as an industrial center is quite unusual for the area. While people in Seguin come from all sorts of backgrounds, they generally value hard work and time with family. Most of the people who I worked with during our civic engagement sessions wanted to use the computer in order to communicate with their kids or grandkids.
